MICAP-OES 1000

MICAP-OES 1000

Radom Corporation | Spectroscopy

Radom's MICAP-OES 1000 integrates the proven, advanced technology of Cerawave™ into atomic spectroscopy, resulting in dramatic space and cost savings. Radom delivers the solution for onsite instrumentation with Microwave Inductively Coupled Atmospheric Plasma – Optical Emission Spectrometry.

This innovative nitrogen-based plasma atomic spectroscopy instrument replaces the traditional argon generated plasma technology by harnessing 1000W of Microwave power.

Cerawave™technology harnesses RF energy providing powerful and sustainable plasma, allowing instruments and machinery in a variety of industries to achieve outstanding performances and results. Our leading product, MICAP™-OES 1000, is proof that this innovative technology is the solution to chemical analysts’ scientific challenges.

Cerawave does not require chiller / liquid cooling and has the added benefit that nitrogen is less expensive than argon. The power of Cerawave technology, coupled with a high-resolution echelle polychromator with CMOS detector, provides simultaneous measurement of elements in the prepared sample. The ability to screen core samples on location means results can be determined more quickly. An added benefit is the ability to collect more samples in an area to create a comprehensive map of the potential yield.
