The OCMA-500 is a fully automated Oil content analyzer that quickly and accurately measures the concentration of oils from wastewater samples in less than 3 minutes. It requires a user to simply inject 8 ml of a water sample followed by 8 ml of S-316 solvent into a measuring cell.   The analyst need only press a measure button and the instrument automatically mixes the 2 layers for a brief period after which the solvent/oil layers stratifies and the wastewater  layer is diverted to a collection vessel. The solvent/oil fraction is then analyzed by NDIR and results are displayed as mg/L, mg/kg, mg/m on a 3.5’ backlit LCD.
